WHAT AI HURTS ZINE

In our current societal trends, the ones who are most susceptible to AI dependence are current high school and college students. This risograph zine/poster intends to educate the masses on how AI affects our environment and society, as well as encourage students to think for themselves on whether they want to use the very technology that is harming us. This project was created specifically to be exhibited at the McDonogh School Tuttle Gallery, along with other participants in the Integrated Future exhibit.

MINDFUL JOURNALING WORKSHOP

Branding applications for a potential event. The mindful journaling workshop about taking time to be in tune with yourself, your body, and your senses by writing reflections with artist-made supplies and journaling kits. It encourages individuals to slow themselves down and consider their mental and spiritual health in a world that forces us to constantly value our labor output over our own wellbeing.

KALO-ISM ZINE

Digital photo class final: A mini-zine about colorism in the South Asian diaspora, discussing beauty standards in society and pop culture. The term “kalo-ism” comes from the word “colorism” and the word “kalo” in Bangla, which literally translates to “black” and is often used as an insult against dark-skinned people in Bangladesh.
